About Campus Kitchens UVM

The Campus Kitchens Project is a national program that partners with students across the country to help end hunger and empower communities to work together through local partnerships, fundraisers, volunteering and education.

Campus Kitchens at UVM is a student led group that works in Burlington, Vermont. We use locally donated food items to prepare meals that we then serve to the greater Burlington community. With Campus Kitchens Project UVM- we are aiming to reduce the amount of hunger here in Vermont, specifically in Chittenden County.

Along with student powered hunger relief, one of the goals of our branch here at UVM is connecting the UVM community with the greater Burlington community through the one common goal of county wide food security! We are taking on the opportunity to get our student volunteers engaged with the community, while pulling in community volunteers and families to work with us as well.

We volunteer every Sunday morning from 8-11:30am.  If you love to cook and volunteer, sign up for a Sunday shift. No prior experience needed!
